Trees

Guide to Tree Works

The estate contains a number of mature trees in the common areas and private gardens which are specially protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs). However, because of the contribution that trees can make to the character and appearance of a conservation area, none of the trees in your garden, (with the exception of small trees and ones that are dead, dying or dangerous), should be cut down, topped or lopped, without notifying the Council. As the Council will seek the views of the Management Committee, please also advise the directors of any works that you propose to carry out.

Proposals affecting trees in the common areas will be submitted directly to the Council by the Management Company after consulting with residents. We usually have a consultation process once a year, with a view to carrying out works in the Spring or Summer.
